I disagree with your comment about these guys being cowards... in their minds they think they are standing up and doing the right thing. They are programmed like robots... those that break protocol are the type of person that has a chance to wake up since they are already crossing a JW line... However, with that said, I don't think pushing people to a breaking point like this is the greatest way to wake people up. I have mixed feelings about the KH crashes since I know what its like sitting in that audience. To me, this feeds into the persecution complex and drives them closer to the organization looking for support out of fear from Satans apostates... etc etc... if you were once a JW, then surely you can remember this feeling... ?

WOW--- these guys were no doubt experiencing some high anxiety with him there. No doubt feeling a good level of embarrassment, cognitive dissonance, and pure anger with a good dash of hate! I get it, its not easy to have someone come in who you know is going to disturb the meeting, but its interesting to see how they get physical with him... honestly, my dad who is a servant and attendant is the type that would haul off and punch someone in the face if he thought the threat was great enough... yup, that's a weakness in JW land and one that I love and I am trying to exploit to help him WAKE UP!! (He's nearly there, just need to get him to look at the ARC)

Keep researching and keep creating your new social network for support. Things get better and better! Congrats that YOU BOTH woke up and are out! There's nothing better for spouses to get out at the same time, your marriage will only improve away from this organization!

Hi "WhatisThis"
All the comments above are in harmony with the way you've described your recent situation. It's really important for you to understand that Jehovah's Witnesses are trained to believe that ANYONE who is NOT a JW is under the full influence of Satan and his wicked world. While your boyfriend was DF'd he no doubt felt severe low self esteem and worthless... he also figured "why not live in the world" for a while until I decide to go back. If you met and moved in together during this phase--- your relationship may surely be doomed. The key element to remember is as others have stated-- he misses his family and old friends (thats been his whole life) and if for some reason they are suddenly showing him attention-- he will run to that them over all else, even YOU. You may be the best person in the world (no pun intended) and have his best interest at heart, but you are no match for cult indoctrination. If he will not wake up, then YOU NEED TO MOVE ON. I know that sounds so incredibly cruel, but this site is full of mostly ex JW's who have suffered terribly under the cult and its heartless shunning policies, crazy doctrines etc. We are all going to tell you how it really is, and it is NOT PRETTY. Its not a good thing to be in a relationship with someone who is struggling to go back in, they will expect you to go back with them and you risk your own sanity and that of any future children etc. So sorry you are in this situation and so sorry we can't offer alternative advise, but it sounds like you have some serious thinking to do... wishing you all the best...

from what I hear from my PIMI Elder Brother in law: No real efforts are made to bring DF'd or DA'd back. They made the return to Jah brochure a while back to attempt to lure back those who were POMI... as far as ones who "purposely DRAW AWAY" (remember, the difference between DRIFTING and DRAWING?? lol) They will not be chased after since they "do not give pearls to swine." If an inactive ones continues to make contact with those who are still in and appears to be a threat hell YES--- they will attempt to SILENCE YOU! They have your family hostage, that's where it gets tricky as to WHO gets called out and who doesn't... It's all about how much of a threat you are to take out MORE sheeples...

dubstepped comments pretty much express how I feel... I think the more the merrier when it comes to helping others no matter what forum or way they choose to do it. My first comment was simply a reminder that its easy to fall back into the way you were once wired to believe. Is it really wrong for someone to devote their life to exposing this cult and also use it as a source of income since (again) they are devoting all their energies into it?

This is coming from a neutral place... but why does anyone write anything?? Why did Ray Franz write one book? Two books? Does it really matter? There are a lot of exJW's who are now "making a living" (sort to speak) off of coming out of the cult. Some have become psychologist/psychiatrists, some have become motivational speakers, authors and the list goes on... If you were raised in this cult, you were raised to be an opportunist whether you see it or not- you were also raised to be super judgmental of others whether you see it or not...

To be honest I know what he did was unlawful but I feel indebted to him because his website was like poetic justice. The Watchtower breached my confidence so many times I lost count so for me he’s a hero lol.
I think Watchtower (unsurprisingly) are demonstrating double-standards again because they are the biggest criminals on the planet.
I feel the same, glad someone else recognizes that the WT has broken so many of the very laws they are now crying out to for protection from... No, I do not advocate breaking copyright laws, but seriously--- how many other sites have all the same material on them??? Why has this one gone under such scrutiny?? Read the article and the ending will answer that!
